Setting up your email account on your device is easy to do. All you need is your email address, password, and validation of multi-factor authentication.
Before you begin following the steps below, we recommend logging into your Microsoft account
on the web to verify the login information you have is correct. If unable to sign-in or need further assistance please create a support request by

Remove Account
Sometimes it is necessary to remove and re-add your email account to resolve sync issues or update account authentication. If you are setting up your email on this device for the first time, please skip to the "Add Account" section below.
- It's very likely there will be multiple Internet Accounts on this list. Locate and click on the account to be removed (labeled as 1 below). Verify it is the correct account by checking the email address to the right (labeled as 2 below). Make a note of the checked sync options to ensure you can select them again when we add the account back in (labeled as 3 below). Then you click on the "-" button to remove the selected account (labeled as 4 below).
- Choose "Remove From All" when prompted
Add Account
- Click on "Microsoft Exchange" as shown below
- On the following window enter your full name and email address, then click sign-in
- Choose sign-in
- On the following Microsoft sign-in window, follow the prompts to enter your email address, password, and verify multi-factor authentication
- If you have removed this account from the device earlier and notated which categories to sync, simply enable the same ones. If you are setting up this device for the first time, we recommend enabling calendars in addition to mail. Enabling sync for other categories will largely depend on other accounts added to your device. We do not recommend syncing contacts, reminders, or notes with multiple accounts on your device. Click done, and you are all set!
